A Century of Faithfulness
Our church family traces its roots back more than 100 years to the founding of Apostolic Faith Church in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. From its earliest days, the congregation was built on prayer, the preaching of God's Word, and a commitment to the doctrine of the apostles described in the Book of Acts. Generations of families have called this church home, finding salvation, friendship, and purpose within its walls.
Over the decades, the congregation grew and adapted to serve a changing community while holding firmly to the same biblical convictions that shaped it from the beginning. Faithful pastors and dedicated members carried the church through seasons of growth, challenge, and renewal, always pointing back to Jesus Christ as the foundation of the work.
Today, continuing under the leadership of Pastor Brad Gerhard, we carry that same heritage forward as The Pentecostals of Greater Hazleton (POGH). We remain grateful for the generations who came before us, and we look forward to writing the next chapter of this church's story together with our community.
